Our Honorary Chair, Yonnie Kauffman, is a Legacy Loan donor! A Legacy Loan can be established by a donor who has reached $10,000, either as a one-time donation or over several years. The loan can also be named in honor of an individual, group, or organization.

Join us in helping to keep our streets beautiful! We'll meet in front of Liberty Place to clean the sidewalk areas on Liberty Street between Harrisburg Pike and Queen Street. Gloves and bags are available.

2026 marks the 65th Anniversary for LDHL! Since February 1961, community support and the commitment of our loan recipients have enabled us to provide more than 15,000 loans – totaling over $21 million – opening doors to higher education at more than 500 colleges and universities.

Our Honorary Chair, Yonnie Kauffman, was also a Board Member and became an Honorary Life Member. Yonnie joined the board of the Citizens’ Scholarship Foundation of Lancaster County (now LDHL) in 1985. Over the years, Yonnie served in several roles and helped support the foundation’s work. In recognition of her long-time service, the board named her an Honorary Life Member.
